The route leads through the Itter Valley to the Pionierbrücken bridges. There, you cross the main road and hike through a beautiful beech forest up to halfway up the Treis hill, continuing to the Café Fernblick and then down to the starting point in Schwalefeld.

Directions
From the center of Schwalefeld, the route leads past the pilgrimage church and the Café Waldesruh, downhill through the Itter valley to the so-called Pioneer Bridges. There, you cross the main road to Bontkirchen.Diemelsee and ascends through beech forest to about halfway up the Treis. Once you reach this height, the trail continues almost level to the Café Fernblick, where the descent back down into the valley to Schwalefeld begins.
