The route leads through wooded areas, once around the Hege- and Schetenkopf mountains, and back to the destination via the Elmeke valley.
The residents of Rattlar are themselves passionate hikers and offer their guests guided tours, well-maintained hiking trails, a water treading pool for health and well-being, and a children's playground for the little ones. Dedicated members of the tourist association ensure the appearance and equipment of the shelter and barbecue hut, and ensure that the numerous holiday benches remain comfortable and attractive.

Directions
From the town center, the route leads towards Sonnenhof via Elmekeplatz to the Hege area. There, the middle path loops around the Hege and Schetenkopf hills. The route then leads back through Elmeke to the finish line at Friedrichsplatz in the center of Rattlar.
