The trail leads through the three villages of Neerdar, Bömighausen, and Welleringhausen. At Grotenberg, it meets the Volcano Trail, but does not follow its route.
Neerdar lies nestled in the valley of the Neerdar River, surrounded by mixed forests and meadows. A marked network of forest and hiking trails connects the village directly with the surrounding nature. Numerous benches at magnificent viewpoints invite visitors to rest and relax.

Directions
From the village community center, the path initially follows the main road to the bus stop. There, turn right and follow the road "An der Sonder" towards Bömighausen. At the entrance to Bömighausen, keep right. The path leads along "Am Berghof" above the holiday home settlement to the "Sonder" shelter. From there, continue towards the "Grotenberg" nature reserve, to the "Auf der Halle" viewpoint – with a view of Welleringhausen – and then through "Seere" and "Padbeck" back to the starting point.
