Willingen Stryck cross-country ski trail (1)

From the starting point, the cross-country ski trail leads through the beautiful Stryck Valley, past the World Cup ski jump, to the turning point "Am Waschkump". From there, it continues through level meadowland back through the World Cup ski jumping stadium to the starting point.

Recommended items include functional, weather-appropriate sportswear, a small backpack or waist pack, energy bars, a hydration belt, and sufficient fluids (water, tea).

By car via the B251 to Willingen (Upland) to the Stryck parking lot between Willingen and Usseln, Stryck/Mühlenkopfschanze junction

Free parking is available at the Stryck hiking parking lot, the Stryckbahnhof hiking parking lot and along Mühlenkopfstraße.

Bus/train to train station Willingen, continue by bus, stop Abzweig Stryck or on-demand shared taxi (AST), stop Abzweig Stryck or Forstamt

Visit the Mühlenkopf ski jump, the largest large ski jump in the world, which hosts a FIS Ski Jumping World Cup every year.
