Experience Eimelrod on its five local, well-maintained hiking trails, each 5 to 8 km long, and its direct connection to the Uplandsteig trail.
This hiking trail leads through the beautiful Diemel Valley, always following the Diemel River, to the small village of Hemmighausen. From there, it goes over a small hill back to Eimelrod.

Directions
The trail initially runs parallel to the E2, passing Wirbelau, but then turns right towards the Diemel Valley, which is soon reached after a hike through a wooded area. There, the trail turns sharply right and continues through the beautiful Diemel Valley, always following the Diemel River, until reaching Hemmighausen. From there, the path leads over the small hill back to Eimelrod.
