Route 1 leads into the "Sondertal and Talgraben" nature reserve with its valley deeply carved into clay slate. Following the Sonderbach stream with its small waterfalls, the trail leads through lush ravine forest and old beech woods towards... Bad WildungenThe forest here is left to its own devices – it is under legal protection. Passing the Helenenquelle spring and the Sechseichen oak trees, the route leads up to the Dr. Marc Tower. The scenic return path invites you to stroll – the view sweeps across the wooded gorge.
