Round trip Korbachthe plateau (KB 1)

Start at the bike junction Korbach (Entrance point of the Ederseebahn cycle path on Wildunger Landstraße). First follow the R5 towards Willingen consequences.

At the Medebacher Landstraße roundabout (petrol station), turn left and continue on the R5. In the open field between Korbach and Lengefeld, leave the R5 and continue straight toward Lelbach. Then turn left and past the Indian grove, follow the paved field path to the right, continuing straight ahead along Briloner Landstraße to the Ziegelhütte.
Continue across the bridge over the main road and through the Kuhbach – Alte Badeanstalt recreation area (circular hiking trail, information boards; information flyer available at the Tourist Information Office). Follow the path to Lelbach (refreshments available in the village). From here, cross the main road and through the old village center.

Continue on the cycle path along the county road to Lengefeld (refreshments available in the village). Pass the old church through the village and over the county road to Nordenbeck (past the Eisenberg hiking portal) and then on to Ober Ense. Here, turn left to Nieder Ense. At the edge of the village, follow the main road briefly and then immediately left again (Weidenkamp). Continue around the cemetery and along the paved field path to the Marbecktal recreation area (2 circular hiking trails, information boards; information flyer available at the tourist information office). In the valley, turn left, past the sewage treatment plant to the next intersection. Here, turn right uphill and continue to the outskirts of Korbach (Bolzcourt Korbach). From there, take the R5 back to the starting point.
