Adorf is the center of the community DiemelseeThe municipal administration is also located here. You'll find all the everyday necessities, as well as doctors and a pharmacy.
An easy bike tour. The start and finish point is at the parking lot in the town center at the miners' memorial.

From the starting point we cycle towards Bad Arolsen, after about 200m we turn into the Heimberg. Here we face a steep climb, which we may have to push. We slowly leave Adorf and head towards Weißenborn. At the level of the farm we should stop briefly and look left towards Upland. If the visibility is good you can see the Ettelsberg Tower on Willingen's local mountain. We continue right onto the country road and a little later left onto the Im Meer field path. Past the Martenberg natural monument we continue towards the Christiane mine. You should plan a longer break here and take a guided tour of the visitor mine. Afterwards we start our way home and cycle parallel to the country road on the Knappenpfad towards Adorf. After 10 minutes we reach our starting point again at the miners' monument.
