Willingen - Schwalefeld - Rattlar - Hemmighausen - Eimelrod - Neerdar - Bömighausen - Welleringhausen - Usseln - Willingen
Although there are rarely long climbs on this route, the constant ups and downs add up to almost a thousand meters of elevation and make the tour quite challenging.

Directions
From Willingen The route continues through the Aarbach Valley to Schwalefeld and from there to Rattlar, with a paved climb just before the village. The route then descends over a ridge into the Diemel Valley to Hemmighausen and through the fields to Eimelrod. From here, the route takes us over the mountain to Neerdar, through Bömighausen, and on to Welleringhausen. A small challenge awaits before the Osterkopf peak. Nevertheless, the view over Usseln to the Kasseler Berg makes up for every kilometer of the climb. A forest trail then leads through the Diemel Valley to the Strycktal Valley. The route takes you back through the Strycktal Valley to the Tourist Information Office. WillingenHere ends a beautiful day trip around Willingen.
