Directions
- From the Ellerburch car park, the trail initially leads along the renaturalized Marbeck stream. On the left, you pass extensively used grassland, and behind the pine forest rise the so-called "Marbeck slopes." These grassy areas, which belong to the calcareous grassland biotope type, are extremely important from a nature conservation perspective. Rare plant and animal species live here, which have adapted to this extremely dry and nutrient-poor location. Please protect this unique habitat by staying on the trails and not taking any animals or plants with you! The trail continues above along the Marbeck slopes, where you can rest at tables and benches and enjoy a magnificent view of the Marbeck Valley and up to the Eisenberg. The M1 circular trail now leads you towards "Pengel," where the annual KorbachThe Easter bonfire takes place. From here, the route returns to the starting point.
