Battenberg Art Trail

The art trail connects Battenberg (Eder) and its districts Berghofen and Laisa over a length of 14 kilometres in the middle of the wonderfully diverse landscape of the EderberglandExperience a diverse low mountain landscape with sweeping views, floodplains of the Eder River, small-scale cultivated landscapes with agriculture, unspoiled villages, meadows and forests – and countless stories.

The art trail is expected to gradually grow over the coming years and become a new attraction for the region and beyond. Here, nature and culture, tradition and modern life, come together while hiking. Art that accompanies hikers along the trail and can bring them together with local people is definitely a unique selling point of the project. The Battenberg Art Trail is located in the "Wandermärchen" hiking region. Burgwald-Ederbergland“ and is therefore an extension and complement to this theme trail.

In recent years, 17 works of art have been installed on the Battenberg Art Trail.
