- Destination: Waldeck-Scheid (beginning of town north)
Narrow paths lead through rustic forests, past the Lindenberg with its remains of the Hünselburg ramparts to the Kahlen Hardt with the oldest sessile oak forest in Germany.
The path leads over a log heap past extremely steep slopes, which does justice to the term "steep". Gnarled beech and oak trees are present everywhere and are protected by Hesse's only national park. The beautiful views here will leave a lasting impression!
