The Black Bear Tour is part of Willingen's MTB trails for children. These are so well connected and signposted that parents and children can decide during the tour which route they want to take and how long the route should be. Important: The difficulty profiles are only guidelines – these can naturally vary from child to child. Children should not ride alone here. Mountain bikes are required in all cases. Riding the trails is at your own risk. Sometimes hikers or even motorists may share the same trails.
The first four kilometers involve a climb of 131 meters, which is quite difficult for children. The reward is a flowing single trail that leads above Schwalefeld. Near the lift line is the junction point between the Black Bear Trail and the Red Trail.Good to know

The black bear goes back over the Orenberg ski jump to WillingenWhen it's training time, you can see the Willingen children practicing on the summer ski jump. And who knows, maybe the mountain bike kids will also enjoy ski jumping training. The tour is rated black because there's a somewhat tricky descent after the Orenberg ski jump, but with the right speed, this is also manageable.
