Experience an entertaining tour through the more than 1000-year history of the Hanseatic city KorbachThe 2,1 km long circular trail "Between the Walls" leads between the two medieval city walls around the historic old town.

The tour starts at the bronze city model directly in front of the Wolfgang Bonhage Museum Korbach. Learn interesting and curious facts about the city's history at 10 stations, as well as its many modern facets. KorbachIf you need a break, numerous cafés and restaurants in the old town invite you to linger.

Even more stories from Korbach can be found in our interactive "Treasure Hunt" app. For each stop on the "Between the Walls" circular trail, the app contains additional information, fairy tales and legends from the city's history, and, of course, an interesting riddle for you to answer. And if you answer all the questions correctly, a little surprise awaits you at the Tourist Information Center.

Directions

From the starting point at the museum, turn left past the historic market square and down Dalwigker Straße to the former Dalwigker Gate. From here, the circular route continues through the green belt between the historic city walls, once around the KorbachThe old town is well signposted.
