Living traditions, historical artifacts and natural teaching materials are embedded in this varied hike.

Meadow and forest paths lead you past the foundations of the Hunburg from the 8th century, and numerous steps lead up to the tower of the same name, the Hunburg Tower in Burgholz, which offers a comprehensive view as far as the Kellerwald, Sauerland and the Lahn-Dill-Bergland Nature Park.

Wooden steps lead to the romantic St. Catherine's Fountain, and bridges cross the fast-flowing Wohra river.

The teaching apiary and the nearly 160-meter-high Burgholzer Wand offer nature experiences, while the old Wohratalbahn railway line, which ran here from 1914 to 1982, provides a glimpse into cultural history. The thousand-year-old linden tree in Himmelsberg, in front of St. Nicholas Church, represents a vibrant village culture.
