Hessian long-distance cycle route R6

The Hessian long-distance cycle route R6 takes you on a 402 km journey from Waldecker Land in the north as far as Lampertheim in the Upper Rhine Plain. Along this route you will pass Frankenberg (Eder) with its magnificent sights, most notably the over 500-year-old ten-towered half-timbered town hall. You will learn about the Waldecker Land with the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park and its centuries-old beech trees, the holiday region Ederbergland with its fairytale forest landscapes and idyllic stream valleys, as well as the fantastic red sandstone landscape of the BurgwaldExperience nature, culture and magnificent half-timbered towns.
