Along the R5, you'll cycle through the northern Hessian mountains, through romantic forests and the tranquil river valleys of the Eder, Fulda, and Werra. The route runs along the shores of Lake Eder, Germany's third-largest reservoir with a capacity of 200 million cubic meters of water. Enjoy a stop in one of the beautiful half-timbered towns with their well-preserved medieval town centers and picturesque half-timbered houses.
