The Geo cycle route Ruhr-Eder connects over 210 kilometers Sauerland with the Waldecker Land. You experience the regions in a special way: on the one hand in the valleys of the Ruhr and Eder, on the other hand many kilometers over former railway lines.
Lake Edersee , one of Germany's largest reservoirs, awaits you. The route also takes you on a journey through the GrenzWelten National Geopark , offering fascinating insights into geological history and the landscape's development.
We invite you to discover the geological, historical, and cultural development on the eastern edge of the Rothaar Mountains by bicycle. Get to know and understand the natural and cultural landscape.
