- The GeoPath Korbach The 20 km long circular route connects the Korbacher Spalte with the Eisenberg near Goldhausen, Germany's largest gold deposit, featuring a visitor mine and the Goldspur educational trail. The route is primarily on field and forest paths, and in the Schanzenberg nature reserve, on narrow nature trails (please do not leave them!). The route is not entirely suitable for cyclists. The exact route of the GeoTrail and explanations of the individual stops can be found in an accompanying brochure. This is available at the Tourist Information Office. Korbach (Tel. 05631/53 232, www.hansestadt-korbach.de) and at the Wolfgang Bonhage Museum Korbach (Tel. 05631/53 289, www.museum-korbach.de).
