A research point, seven adventure stations, three play areas and a rest area - all this awaits you on the Lengefeld family adventure trail.
The nature park Diemelsee and the Hanseatic city Korbach The trail, developed by the German Institute for Nature Conservation (DGK), leads for 3,5 km along the Marbeck stream, past the Wipper Pond, and through the beech forest on the Wipper Berg. The stations focus on water, forests, soil, and rocks, as well as the creatures along the stream and in the forest. Everywhere there's something to try, listen to, look at, climb, or search for. And on hot summer days, the Marbeck offers cooling for the feet, and the forest provides shade for the head.
The path was installed in spring 2024 with the help of funding from the "Active Regional Development" program.

Equipment
- Sturdy footwear is required, as the trail also includes unpaved sections. However, the entire trail is easily manageable for families with small children of kindergarten age. The trail is not suitable for strollers.
Our tip
- Directly on the path lies the medieval hill fort "Hünenkeller", which can be reached via a short detour.
