Route 2 leads to the Schartenberg with a great view of Altwildungen and the castle. Individual hate trees and the remains of poor grassland, which are now grazed by sheep, are remnants of a historical rural cultural landscape. Past the old courthouses we head into the Haarbachtal. The route then leads back around the Bilstein.
