The Immighausen circular trail starts at the hiking car park near the village community centre and takes you through and around the village of Immighausen.
You hike through natural areas characterized by agriculture and forestry, partly along the Lichtenfels Panorama Trail. The varied circular route leads along numerous nature trails to the 490 m high Höhnscheid, the highest point on the route. Here you will be rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view of the idyllic landscape that blooms in spring. The path continues to the former Gut Schaaken monastery, whose imposing ruins are still impressive today. Then you head back towards Immighausen, where you will soon see the first houses of the starting point.
The "Kellerwald Jewels" are characterized by their scenic forest trails and breathtaking views. These carefully selected routes range in length from approximately 4,5 km to almost 15 km. If you enjoyed this hike, feel free to discover other gems of the Kellerwald and Edersee region.

Arrival & Parking
The K52 and K50 both lead into the town of Immighausen.
Parking spaces are available at the Immighausen village community center.
By bus line 502 (from Korbach) you can take the bus to the "Lichtenfels-Immighausen" stop during the week. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. The stop is right next to the hiking trail.
Alternatively, on weekends you can use the CallSammelTaxen (AST) service (Tel. 05631-5062088).
Our tip
My favorite view is from Höhnscheid. Enjoy the wide view to Korbach or even the radio tower at Hohen Gras in the Habichtswald Nature Park.
safety instructions
In some places the path can be very muddy and wet.
