Tylen Tower
The Tylen Tower was built around 1325 and named after the resident von Tylen family. Formerly part of the city fortifications, the lower floor served as a dungeon as late as the 18th century.
The viewing platform at a height of 25 m offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Korbachthe old town and across to the Eisenberg, Germany's largest historic gold deposit.
You will receive the key to the ascent against a deposit in the Korbach-Information, Prof.-Bier-Str. 15 (pedestrian zone, Mon-Fri 10am-18pm, Sat 10am-13pm).
