Sailing School Frank Rudolph
The Rudolph sailing school in Waldeck-West on the Edersee has existed for over 60 years. Owner Frank Rudolph is the third generation to run the sailing school.
From Easter to October you can learn to sail on modern dinghies, keel yachts, catamarans and optimists. The training offering includes trial courses, basic courses and courses for recreational boating licenses including theory. Individual training courses also take place on weekends. In addition to the sailing school, there is a boat rental for sailboats, electric boats and yachts, canoes and SUP boards. The boats do not require a license and are available for hourly or daily trips. Boat owners are offered boat and yacht service as well as winter storage and dock space.

In general, the “AST-Taxi” (CallSammelTaxi) should also be included in the planning. With the CallSammelTaxis (AST), the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in great demand. Instead of taking the bus, you can travel here in normal taxis or rental cars. AST also have fixed timetables - you just have to register your wish to travel by telephone (usually) up to 30 minutes before the journey. Also remember that AST only run when there are no normal buses running at the same time.
