Schreiber House
Open only by appointment or during special opening hours!
The Schreibersches Haus is one of the oldest buildings in the Baroque royal city. After its expansion into a three-wing complex at the end of the 18th century, the main floor was decorated with carvings and wall decorations from the early Neoclassical period. Paintings and graphic works from the 19th century represent the work of the important dynasty of painters around Wilhelm von Kaulbach. Historical documents, models, and an audio play provide vivid information about the development of the royal city of a petty principality.
