Passenger shipping Edersee - Waldeck-Strandbad pier
The Waldeck Strandbad pier is the main pier for the Edersee passenger shipping!
“A sea trip is fun!” on the state-of-the-art passenger ships “Stern von Waldeck” and “Edersee Star” of the Edersee passenger shipping company.
Depending on the water level, the entire length of the Edersee can be navigated. But the charm of this lake landscape is also evident on a shorter journey. Lunch as well as coffee and cake are offered on both ships.

- How to Arrive
The Ederseerandstrasse takes you from Scheid as well as from Edertal-Hemfurth (dam) to Waldeck-West. The main headquarters of the Edersee passenger shipping company and the Waldeck-Strandbad jetty are located in the middle of the lake.
Parking
Parking lot (car + bus*) Waldeck lido. This parking lot is chargeable for cars. A daily rate (cash) can be drawn. The parking ticket is then valid in all other paid locations in the municipality of Edertal and the city of Waldeck!

In general, the “AST-Taxi” (CallSammelTaxi) should also be included in the planning. With the CallSammelTaxis (AST), the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in great demand. Instead of taking the bus, you can travel here in normal taxis or rental cars. AST also have fixed timetables - you just have to register your wish to travel by telephone (usually) up to 30 minutes before the journey. Also remember that AST only run when there are no normal buses running at the same time.
