With the Edersee ferry you can easily cross the Edersee between Scheid and Rehbach.

The ferry service takes you from one side of the lake to the other, shortening a distance of around 20 km around the lake. We also transport you with your bicycles in and out of season and by prior arrangement. Ferry service with e-bike and SUP rental. Morning dew tours in the national park and evening tours for groups with advance reservation.

As every year, the water level of the Edersee is not always deep enough for boating. When the water level reaches 222,50 m above sea level, navigability becomes critical for ferry operations.
