The Alte Nationalgalerie in Berlin houses one of the most important collections of 19th-century art.
It has an extensive collection of sculptures from which works are being made for the Christian Daniel Rauch Museum in Bad Arolsen A rich selection has been compiled. With works by the sculptor Christian Daniel Rauch and his fellow artists of the Goethe era, the museum presents the development of German and international sculpture in the 19th century.
