Burgstübchen Hatzfeld (Eder)

Museum

Small museum with artifacts from the 14th to 15th centuries.

The artifacts recovered during the excavation work are currently stored in the "Burgstübchen" (castle room). The "Burgstübchen" is located in the attic of the former "little school" opposite the Hatzfeld town hall. Some of the finds are displayed on shelves, while the majority of the material is in storage.

Based on an initial examination, the artifacts can be dated to the 14th to 15th centuries, with the majority dating to the 15th century. No older finds have been identified to date.
