Kugelsburg Castle Ruins

The Kugelsburg is the landmark of the city Volkmarsen It was built as a Romanesque castle in the 12th century. From the round tower, you can enjoy a view of the neighboring Wolfhagen and Warburg regions with the free binoculars. Descending from the tower, you reach the inner courtyard. From there, a spiral staircase leads to the so-called "Witches' Cellar," which gives visitors a glimpse into the Middle Ages.
