Beech House
BoggelReich
The fog gate leads into the mysterious realm of the Boggel. From their perspective you see the beech forest with different eyes and discover what is hidden. The Boggel film is playing in the Boggelhöhle.
ShadowForest
The backdrop is a walk-in silhouette that reflects the beauty and diversity of the structures of a beech forest. Ten stations provide information about the beech and its forest.
Forest stage
Films about the national park, Buchenwald and Boggel are shown regularly.
Network
The NABU (Nature Conservation Association of Hesse) exhibition highlights the ecological importance of the national park for the region and for Hesse. Lynx, red deer, red kite, black woodpecker, eagle owl and forest bats provide impressive evidence of this.
FloorLook
The SDW (German Forest Protection Association) presents a walk-in section of the ground with hugely enlarged creatures from the underworld.
Wilderness School
The beech forest wilderness is the focus of nature education as a place of personal freedom and biological diversity. Groups can craft, experiment and research in the Wilderness School's WerkRaum. In the classroom there are presentations, discussions and games. In the wilderness room people ponder and meditate.

NVV-ServcieTelephone: 0800-939-0800
All connections including "AST-Taxi" (call-and-ride taxi) connections can be viewed in detail via the NVV timetable information - www.nvv.de/fahrplanauskunft
Tip for your smartphone - download the "NVV Mobil" app in the respective app store before the tour!
In general, the "AST taxi" should also be included in the planning. With the call-and-collect taxis, the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in such high demand. Instead of taking the bus, you travel in normal taxis or rental cars. AST taxis also have fixed timetables - you only have to register your travel request by phone (usually) up to 30 minutes before the journey. Also remember that AST taxis only run when there are no normal buses running at the same time.
