The shore beaches are freely accessible, except for the nature reserve, and our parking is free. Extensive stocking measures ensure abundant fishing opportunities. Whether you're looking for large sea trout, eels, catfish, 20-pounder pike, 10-pounder zander, or 4-pounder perch, predatory fish are a top priority at the Diemelsee particularly popular and accessible from practically all shore locations.

The use of electric motors and depth sounders is permitted. The colder months offer the best trolling times for predatory fish. Coarse fishermen will also find a wide selection.
