Since February 2018, the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park has joined 22 other national parks, nature parks and biosphere reserves in the “Destination Nature” cooperation, which promotes environmentally friendly travel by train to nature reserves and sustainable local mobility by public transport (Public transport) makes you strong.

Over 20 circular hiking trails lead into the beech forests of the national park and offer visitors magnificent views and unique nature experiences.

Participating hosts of the National Park region will have the guest card for you upon arrival MyCardMobile Ready. With this card, which is free for you, you can enjoy free travel throughout northern Hesse on buses, trains and on-demand shared taxis (AST).
