Orientation for the guest and a sign of quality
The tourism region Waldecker Land demonstrates through its participation in the classifications of the German Tourism Association (DTV) and the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) effective quality management and supports innovative and sustainable quality tourism in Germany.
The license agreement with the German Tourism Association and the training of two employees as examiners of the German Tourism Association authorizes the Touristik Service Waldeck-Ederbergland Society (TSWE), the examination procedure for Private accommodation Who Holiday apartments, holiday homes and Holiday room in the district. Guest Houses, guesthouses, Guesthouses without hotel-like character and Holiday parks and exceptional accommodations (for example tiny houses, tree houses, houseboats with a maximum living area of 50 square meters) can be classified.
The evaluation of Hotels is done via the German Hotel and Restaurant Association e. V. (DEHOGA), but is always carried out by an employee of Touristik Service Waldeck-Ederbergland Society (TSWE) accompanied and shared responsibility.
Target group of the quality initiative "Hiking Germany" are establishments with additional facilities and special services for hikers.
bed & bike Establishments are particularly geared towards guests who cycle.
The "Paw classification" is carried out as an addition to a existing classification of the German Tourism Association and recognizes particularly dog-friendly holiday apartments.
National and nature park partner companies All accommodation and catering establishments that feel a special connection with the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park and the nature park of the same name can become members.
