Visit the unique gold mine in the "Untere-Tiefe-Tal-Stollen" (Lower Deep Valley Tunnel) in Germany's largest gold deposit. This adventurous guided tour takes you through the Untere-Tiefe-Tal-Stollen, where gold was mined as early as the Middle Ages. Equipped with a hard hat, protective jacket, rubber boots, and a miner's lamp, you'll experience the world inside the Eisenberg. Protective clothing is provided, and you can also bring your own sturdy, waterproof hiking boots.
Meeting point: Zechenhaus at the village community center in 34497 Korbach-Goldhausen, Turmweg 4 (always at the beginning of the tour)
Footpath between the mine house and the visitor tunnel (partly steep uphill or downhill): approx. 5-10 min.
Duration of the tour: approx. 2 hours
