Exhibition - Miniskirt and scooter
Baby Boomers and the Enlightenment, the Beatles and the Cold War, motorization and technological change, pubs and television: the 1960s are considered a decade of social change between tradition and modernity, between clinging to the old and striving for the new. The exhibition is a journey back in time to the decade of increasing prosperity and political awakening, with its questioning of established authorities, which unfolded in the small town Korbach but was often still very traditional. Nevertheless, a transformation also took place in Korbach In the 1960s, there was a change towards a more modern society and a city with new infrastructures as well as leisure and entertainment opportunities.
