Most of them are themed trails.
More hiking trails!
A themed hiking trail is a hiking trail with an overarching theme that either names the region or points out local or regional peculiarities.
Themed hiking trails are outside the classic hierarchy of the hiking trail network (long-distance hiking trail, main hiking trail, regional hiking trail, local hiking trail, connecting or feeder trail) and the length of the trail is not defined.
Besides local circular hiking trails, themed hiking trails can also be several hundred kilometers long and can only be hiked in several day stages. In addition to their educational function, they also serve recreational purposes and can connect thematically related places, buildings, or natural phenomena via a signposted route, or even feature specially placed exhibits.
While themed hiking trails provide motivation to hike through their design, the educational or nature trails focus on the pedagogical or educational goal.
We have some of them!
