Wildlife parks

Wild animals you can touch

Im Waldecker Land There are a total of 4 wildlife parks/wildlife enclosures in which native and sometimes exotic wild animals live in an environment as close to nature as possible.
The focus is on:

  • native animal species such as deer, wild boars, deer, foxes, lynxes or birds of prey
  • larger, natural enclosureswhere the animals can move more freely
  • educational mediation, i.e. information about the lifestyle, behavior and protection of animals
  • Viewpoints and petting zoo for kids

In our wildlife parks, you can observe animals that are rarely or never seen in the wild – but in a natural environment. They are a popular destination for families and nature lovers. Birds of prey shows are also offered at the wildlife and leisure park. Willingen and at the Edersee Wildlife Park. At the Edersee Wildlife Park, children and adults can explore the wildlife park and its inhabitants under the expert guidance of a ranger.

I live in the Edersee Wildlife Park, where I love to hide from you! Friends of mine live in the national park—but you won't even see them...
